These pics are of the process, not the finished product in case anyone wonders. But here they are, and my little chef in the making preparing the topping. I am not a big potato eater so I find I need to fancy them up some how, I dont like the marshmellow candy ish type recipes for sweet potatoes, but topping them with a little brown sugar cinnamon crust them the adding of the pecans... its like heaven would taste if you could eat it....
side note: it occurred to me while watching W put the topping together (yes I watched her put the topping together, I opened packages, handed her the tools but she did it... all if of it on her own), that my 4yr old just may be a better cook that some adults I know, lol. She still doesn't use the oven but I can only imagine what the yrs will bring with her cooking at my side, I truly hope she loves it let if only half as much as I do, and remembers us in the kitchen together as fondly as I surely will.

Corn and Bacon Chowder!
This is one of my Husband's fave meals that I make. As I have said we are not big soup eaters around here, but I am sick, and there is something about hot soup/chowder when your bones ache and throat is sore. Its easy to make, and sooooo yummy I just can't help but make it a few times throughout the fall/winter season.

Comparison pictures.
Since I know everyone wants them, lol. The bottom pic is me in Sept of last yr, almost 25lbs heavier than I am now. You can totally see belly and thighs, that aren't there now (top pics are me today) I wish I had better ones, but tbh I wasn't really into having my pics taken. I am still not, as I haven't lost any weight in my face, and I know that fact still makes me look pretty big :(, but you can tell in the body that some weight is gone. Especially those thighs, yay jogging!

-22lbs
No pics today, as I just woke up and got nothing but I did weigh in as its Sunday, weigh in day.
I am down 22lbs since July 1st.
I feel good. I am a little sore tbh, jogging is not easy stuff. I know ppl out on the street in the early morn, just joggin away make it look easy, but I want to kick them, they are very misleading.
I am sore, not just my legs, but my whole body is sore. I have been resting, two -three days a week.
I don't usually do my ab dvd on the same day as my jogging, I always walk every day, because I have dogs, and I have no choice, but on my rest days I do 90min in total and nothing else.
Still I am sore. I am also full of energy and feeling confident and strong so its give and take, but I will keep it up b/c the pros outweigh the cons.

I'm back, well some of me is. ;)
I have been busy, as you can see. :) Since July first of this year I have now lost 18lbs. 4inches off my waist, 1 inch off each thigh and my ability to focus on all the things I cannot change.
I have also gained alot as well, I have gained my ability to live my life to the fullest to appreciate the little things, to jog with my dog for 30 min and only stop twice for water, to run around with my daughter and not to take breather breaks. I have gained my ability to walk into any store and know I am going to fit into pants, (still top heavy and I can't quite say the same for shirts, but I am working on it), my laughter, my sparkle, my confidence, and my life, all of that I have gained back, by losing so little.
