Ever Need a Little Break from Life.

Well I did. After yet another neg test, that I was pretty hopefull about, I just needed to get away. My house is starting to feel like the land of Negative tests and I cannot take it atm.

So my sweet husband who totally understood my pain, booked us a hotel close by, with a pool for W and here we are. The plan was to skip around St Jacobs, but dude its cold out there.
We went to the mall, bought silly stuff, like chocolate covered brownies. MMMMMMMMMMMMM, a dress I have been coveting for Wave, NOOODLES from Bourbon Street Grill, the dubya;s fave food (Wendys is a close second).
I spent some quiet time alone in the hot tub, and excersise area. So needed that.
Now DH and I are blogging and tweeting until W falls asleep. We have a late check out tomorrow, W is going to school, DH is taking her, while I relax in the room with some room service. Sigh,
sometimes its worth a little extra money to get away from it all, and it doesn't have to be some big vacation either this little trip has really helped me feel better. I am so thankful my husband understood my need for this little vaca. Hes been wonderful.

On another note though, I am quite impressed with you for keeping up with your blog, despite being on a holiday. Enjoy the rest of your mini-vaca.

  5. So glad you got away....and I completely agree that it doesn't have to be a big getaway. Just a change of scenery, a new set of walls....and spoiling yourself a bit. Can help a lot.

    And chocolate.
